Joseph Smith — will you
tell us your “ story ? ”
 
 
  Yes. When I was a lad of 14, I was faced with a real problem.  
     
  Hmm . . .“ Story ” means
a lie, doesn ‛t it ? J.B.
will have this guy confessing in no time.
 
     
  My mother, two brothers and a sister were members of the Presbyterian
Church.* My father did not feel that this was the true church, but he did not feel any other church was right either.
 
 
  I don ‛t believe any of these
ministers know any more about the
Kingdom of God than those who don ‛t
belong to any organized church !

  My family was quite divided on the question of which
church was right, and I felt I needed to choose.
