You already heard how the four of us joined in a prayer circle without any success, and that I offered to leave . . .

  I ‘m sorry, Joseph. I
believe I am the reason
we are not receiving an
answer to our prayers.

I felt unworthy, so when I was out of earshot from the others, I knelt down and prayed for my brethren, that they might not be denied the blessing of seeing the Plates because of my unworthiness.1

Soon Joseph approached me. I took one look at his face and knew they had received a wonderful manifestation. Joseph invited me to kneel down with him and pray so that I might still be one of the Witnesses. 2
After we began to pray, the Heavens
opened and Moroni appeared with the
Plates and I heard Heavenly Father ‛s
voice just as the others had.

  “ ‛Tis enough ‛ — ‛tis enough
— mine eyes have seen ! ”
