At the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple
on April 6, 1893, “ Some Latter-Day Saints saw angels, while others saw past Presidents of the Church and other deceased Church leaders.”*
     
  President Lorenzo Snow showed his granddaughter the area in the Salt Lake Temple where Jesus Christ appeared to him. This miracle had occurred shortly before his call to be the President of the Church in September of 1898.  
     
  Elder George F. Richards was ordained an apostle in April of 1906. He later
related in a letter to his son LeGrand Richards, that he had a dream wherein he was embraced by the Savior Jesus Christ.
 
     
     
  Elder Orson F. Whitney was ordained an Apostle on
April 6, 1906. Soon after he related a dream in which he witnessed Christ’s suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane.
