CLAIM TEN
The tenth claim is that the ancient people built great cities
with dense populations and large buildings. ( see Ether 10:20-21 and
Alma 50:13-15 ) Below is Cuzco, the center of the Incas ‘ world !

Mormon 1:7

The whole face of the land had become covered with buildings, and the people were as numerous almost, as it were the sand of the sea.
  3rd Nephi 6:7-8

And it came to pass that the there were many cities built anew, and there were
many old cities repaired. And there were many highways cast up, and many roads
made, which led from city to city, and from land to land, and from place to place.

Cuzco was one of the capitals of the Inca kingdom. One of the
Conquistadors who saw it in person stated : “ It was grand and stately and
must have been founded by people of great intelligence. It has fine streets,
except that they are narrow and the houses are built of solid stone, beautifully
joined. It was certainly a magnificently planned city, of which there
have been few counterparts in the world. Many of the buildings were
entirely Plated with gold.” During the earthquake
of 1951, nearly every modern-day building
was shaken to the ground, while the
ancient structures survived and were as
good as ever.
