1) Surveys of mainstream Christian church members 1 (practicing
and non-practicing ), and ministers 2 reveal the percentage of
each group that believes in A the miracles of Jesus Christ (which
includes His Sinless Divine Nature and His literal Resurrection )
and B in the reality of Satan.
2nd Nephi 28:19-23
. . . He [ Satan ] . . . telleth them there is no
hell ; and he saith to them : I am no devil, for
there is none - and thus he whispereth in their
ears . . . .
The Resurrection
was only figurative. I
refuse to believe it happened
literally.
It is interesting to note that a large majority
of Christian Ministers deny the existence of
Satan, acknowledging that the New Testament
alone has 225 verses that clearly refer
to Satan as a real person with a definite
agenda to entice us to violate God ‛s ommandments,
and therefore disqualify us for
the blessings Heavenly Father offers.
